Les Trois Garçons

Seared Landes foie gras with plum compote and Granny Smith apple to start followed by Red Mullet with aubergine caviar, celery, chorizo and saffron sauce. Sound appetizing?
Then go to Les Trois Garçons, it is an elegant and luxurious restaurant, with a dark interior but is softened by candle light and the reflective sparkles from the chandeliers. It is a well-known french restaurant and one you must not miss if you're walking around trendy Shoreditch and Hoxton.

Plus it is half restaurant and the other a trendy cocktail bar, which is always crowded with a stylish young crowd.

Berlin time!

BLUSH DESSOUS... This is the place to find delicious lingerie from owner Claudia Kleinert's own label, as well as a hand-picked selcetion of silky skimpies from the likes of  Cavalli, Fifi Chachnil and Malizia in saucy, purple-tinted boudoir surroundings. The store's pièce de résistance is a king-sized, brown velvet upholstered 1970's bed, complete with retro radio in the headboard. Shopping companions can be left there with a selection of cult German magazines while you occupy yourself with the serious business of what not to wear.

FIORUCCI

Guarda, forse accanto a te c'è un angelo... That's the logo of this famous italian fashion label in Milan. It started in the 60's and still continues today... It is like an enormous, trendy bazaar. The shop is spread out over three levels and offers a bit of everything; hair accessories, gigantic fabric flowers and trendy clothes in mad styles amongst other things...

The jeans are Fiorucci's trademark, they fit perfectly and they are in every colour you can imagine (yellow, peach, red, pink, fucsia, bright green). Everytime I'm in Milan it's a definite place to go for me, I love seeing the new things they come up with and it's the perfect place to find original ideas for presents!
I could spend hours in the store just looking around, although at the end I just end up buying a really pointless thing which looked SO cute in the shop... ;)

Absolute Vintage...

Welcome to Absolute Vintage! This London shop has been voted one of the top 100 stores you MUST visit in the world... I have to say it's quite incredible, you can find anything there. Once you go in it's impossible to get you out of there, you just get lost between the huge selection of shoes and bags, millions of dresses and plenty of other accessories!

It's located right next to Brick lane, so once you're there stay and walk around. It's my favourtie area in London...I loved walking around there and discovering new shops, restaurants, etc.
And of course you can't forget to visit Spitafields market (Commercial st) a large indoor market that has stalls drenched with books, CD's, jewelry, food, bread stalls and obviously clothes stall (both second hand and new).

Have a great day!

The world according too...

This week we're moving to London...I love this city as well! I lived there 6 months in 2007, I was studying short courses at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, I had a really great time there and spent there the enough time to know some of the coolest places there!

You must be wondering what the title I put means? Well it is actually the name of the shop; The world according to... This is an ultra-cool one stop cult shop stocking the best of women's street style and fashion!
This shop is in a basement but is not cluttered, layout is spacious and the neon lights add a touch of disco. All of london cool chicks come here looking for the greatest and latest!

Le "Relais de l'Entrecôte"

You have to go here if you're in Paris... It is not very fashionable or trendy but the food is just INCREDIBLE!
This restaurant offers a fixed menu for everyone, for 22€; a walnut salad to start with, followed by two plates of tasty rib steak and fries served with a sauce whose recipe is kept secretly by the owners of l'Entrecôte. The sauce is amazing, everyone has tried to copy it, restaurants, customers, even me (!), but i has not even come out close to how delicious it is!

You can not book and yet people are willing to queue half an hour to enjoy this divine menu! To try and avoid this queue you should arrive early, around 12:30 or in the evening at 20h.
The desserts are à la carte, try the Relais cake, a chocolate fondant, you'll love it!

bc for BLACK CALAVADOS

My proposal tonight is this small but trendy nightclub. It has an original, modern restaurant on the first floor where you can enjoy music and good food (open until 2AM)!
The whole place is designed with accents of stainless steel and handsome parquet floors, although the real lure here is the pretty fashion crowd!
On the ground floor is the resolutely chic and intimate bar, it´s always full, especially on Tuesday's!
Here you have to try the pink mojito deluxe, Rhum Bacardi with fresh raspberries, mint and lime... delicious!!

Hope you like it and have a great night out!

Andy Whaloo

Sitting at home watching a boring film on TV in a language you don't even understand? I mean where else COULD you be on a wednesday night? Mmmm...what about... Andy Whaloo!
This is a moroccan bar, really cozy and stylish, it mixes pop-art and recycled Moroccan plastic bottles, cans, store designs, etc.
There is no need to dress up, so there is no excuse not to go!
Try the Mojito...you won't regret it!!!

PARIS, PARIS!

Paris! It is definitely my favorite city...I spent two months there (September, October) and loved every part of it! I worked in a hotel in Rue de L'Arcade, and lived with my best friend in Rue Bosquet, in the 7ème arrondissement. There is just everything there; the french cafés, trendy bars and nightclubs, delicious restaurants, amazing shops and of course... La Tour Eiffel!
As soon as I arrived, although it was on a Sunday evening in the poring rain, I knew I was going to love it and not want to leave!
Of course two months isn't that long to know all the hot places to go but... I had the help of my Parisian friends :)
